A foreign transaction fee adds a percentage to every purchase you make abroad, so for travel spending it is the first thing to rule out. All four cards in this guide charge no foreign transaction fee: the Chase Sapphire Preferred, the Wells Fargo Autograph, the Bank of America Travel Rewards card and the Capital One VentureOne.
